At 13/14 - you're too young to play in clubs so you'll have to be more creative.

Practice Practice Practice.

Learn your instrument (you DO play an instrument, don't you) and practice a lot. Get really good at playing - not just singing.

Learn about different types of music - even music you think is old hat or square.

OK so your band is getting pretty good. Make sure your list of songs is "parent approved" Nothing violent and such.

You need venues and the garage is getting a bit crowded.

Ask if you can play for your school's functions - you know, assemblies, spring concert, talent shows, even various dances/mixers.

Ask if your band can play for your church - Sunday night is a good time - just make sure you know some good traditional hymns as well as contemporary gospel.

Ask if your band can play for your town's festivals - talk to the dept. of recreation and parks - maybe they'll book you to open the summer concert series.

The library may be a good venu too. Maybe you can play for the end of their summer reading program.

Bottom line - even we adults who have been playing since before the earth cooled and dirt was invented have to practice and we have to hustle gigs.

But it sounds like you're a real go-getter so "go - get-er!"

Good luck kiddo.

Sounds like you live in my town. Maybe we can work out for you to come sing to me. I will notice you.

Be more optimistic about small towns. In some larger cities, it might not be so good to be noticed. Perform there and if it doesn't suit you, it probably wouldn't suit you large scale either. There are lots of other types of employment to consider too.

then you should start going to bars or clubs that needs a band to perform for them..or if there is a party, wedding, b-day or any occasions that needs a band or a singer to perform then go there and break a leg..somehow people might notice you and your band..another is you can make a blog about your band so that they can contact you..remember..those people that are famous right now start from scratch..so don't be sad..just do your best in everything you do..who knows someday you'll be one of the stars..
