Don't use any metallic materials for cooking in the microwave - foil, metal pans, steel bowls are all causes of microwave break downs. Even plates or bowls with fine golden or silver lines on the rim are culprits.

Are you microwaving aluminium based materials????? Or silver spoons? Knives? Forks? Something that YOU are doing is busting up your microwave.

Get it tested, if the waves are escaping they can mess, you and especially kids, up.
