I believe the ancient religions were not wrong at all. Sure, I question their beliefs in the existence of celestial gods and goddesses etc, but they were also very dilligent people, the ancients. What we view as evil in astrology, paganism etc is due to judeo doing. They persecuted pagans, and declared them worshippers of satan. But look at how accurate and more scientific the pagans philosophy were when compared with judeo religions. I have been reading up on Hinduism lately, the only form of paganism that is widely a world practised religion and their philosophy is way more scientifically capable then the load of crap the bible and other judeo religious books come out with

The "Old Ways" and along with the Goddesses / Gods, were assimilated into the modern Christian religion.. Christianity is wholly based on murder and assimilation...
The ancient religions were mainly earth and nature based , along came this false religion called Christianity and look at the state of the world now because of them !! And Islam is no better, another totally false religion...
Since it is now illegal to kill Witches, we are getting stronger every day.. People have had enough of being lied to and seeing what sort of "Fat Cat" Hierarchy, two faced mob their people in charge of their religion really are..
The Christian religion will soon be ancient history, as we enter a new age... I believe that without Christian intervention, we would have started to evolve into this new age when it was the last new age 5,125 years ago.... They held us back, but not this time, it's here and it's happening now...

Ancient religion were not wrong. As you had said they are ancient hence they believe in the saying of a "tooth-for-a-tooth", because that was what they believe at that time. However due to the passing of time and God's mystery these ancient religion has undergone changes especially in the correct way of worshipping God. What we do have now is debates of which is the true religion.

Probably not if you look at it like this...religions that still exist today,in the past they killed each other.Remember the crusades? When the Christians killed the Muslims because Muslims were in Spain first and they were trying to conquer that side of the world....
In my perpective,I respect all religions but I got a religion of my own.I do not need to follow others books of living and explaining life itself.
I remember once in Social Studies class,I failed one question, which was "What is the number one reason why there's war in the world",I choose "land",which makes sense the most. But,actually, religion is.Crazy, right? It's true.
No society or community is extremely righteous.Doesn't mean I don't believe in God,or Jesus or Muhammed,or whatever it's out there. No one follows the Bible for example,or commandments, like "Thou shou not kill".Most people sitting in jail today pray to God for their sins, yet they knew it wasn't right at first.

No. Indeed, they may count that persecution as evidence that they were right. But history is written by the winners, not the losers.
