no, i had a few korean girls in my high school were about 5'10/ 5'11. I also have some korean girls in my university and they are similar heights. So no i wouldnt consider that tall but more so average.

5'7 is a little over average. I think at the 5'9-5'10 mark is where most people would consider a Korean girl to be tall. I can't recall ever seeing a Korean girl over 6 feet(without heels anyway).

The teenagers are taller than their parents. There are many tall girls in Korea. Koreans are usually the largest of the Asian people. Even though 5'7" is tall for a girl it is not unusual now.

Koreans are typically taller than many other Asians. Also, younger people are taller than their parents in Korea (and China and Japan). For young people, 5'7" is a little taller than average, but not much. For the total female Korean population, the average is closer to 5'4". My Korean wife is 5'0", but says she is "the runt of the litter" - her sisters are all taller than she.

I think non-Asians get Koreans, Chinese and Japanese all mixed up.
South Koreans of the current generation are generally bigger than the average Chinese or Japanese.
Even in the older generation of South Koreans, you will see heavier people than you will in China or Japan.
a 5'7" woman would not even be noticed in South Korea..
Recent reports, however, tell us that she would be considered tall in North Korea.

Yes; it is a little above the average height for a Korean female.
The usual average is 5 foot, 3 to 4 inches.

No! Only foreigners would think that. Korean women come in many heights. Look at national volleyball and basketball teams. We have tall, short and in between.
