thats wright - sit ups build muscle - they dont burn any fat so that makes your belly look bigger (this happens when you dont ask for help people who know)
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio (the only fat burning exercise) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Swimming is the best exercise for your whole body. Also taking a brisk walk without stopping is great. Work gradually up to at least 30 minutes. Drink lots of water. Cut out all the snacks, fried food, and sugar. Eat lots of fruits and veggies(they can be frozen.) Eat fish (tuna in water is great), white meat chicken without the skin, hard-boiled egg whites, and lean meat. That'll do it. It'll take willpower. Eat only when you're hungry, not bored. Don't ever get FULL, and don't go to sleep on a full stomach.

u can use detox diets to loose weight .The detox diet focuses on getting rid of the harmful aspects of our everyday diet.detox diets will help u to a great extent to reduce weight and be slim.Instead of eating 2 - 3
meals per day, try eating 4 - 5 small meals per day, or 3 meals and 2 healthy snack meals.
Food substitutions can help tremendously when trying to reduce calories and speed up the metabolism.

I used to weigh 300 pounds until I started running 2 hours a day.
Now I weigh 140. (That was 6 months ago.{That I weighed 300}) It's slow, but worth it.
What's the bonus?
I STILL EAT ALL I WANT!!!
Just exercise. That is what is important. It's tough but it CAN be done.

4.gain halthy habbits by walking instead of moving by buses and cars.
5.get motivated by watching tv programs ex.oprah.
