Sounds like classical withdrawal symptoms to me, especially the arm pain. It is possible it is related to your pneumonia but it is much more likely to be withdrawal related. You should never stop a psychotropic medication abruptly. Klonopin is fairly long acting, so you won't feel the full force of the withdrawal for about a week. Some less intense withdrawal symptoms can occur after only 24 hours but it takes a good week or so for it to reach its maximum intensity.
The pain in your arm is probably caused by a muscular cramp from withdrawal from klonopin. You see klonopin is a muscle relaxant so when you go into withdrawal the opposite happens and that is muscular tension or muscular spasms or more seriously and worrying is epileptic seizures which can prove fatal so you should go back on klonopin immediately.
Klonopin is a very powerful drug. It is a benzodiazepine. If you want to learn more about benzodiazepines such as klonopin read this by professor heather ashton http://www.benzo.org.uk/manual/
Hopefully you will feel better soon. Cold turkey can be dangerous from any psychotropic drug but particularly benzodiazepines such as klonopin.

I would suggest getting the klonopin filled as quickly as possible. Klonopin withdrawal can be quite serious, and can cause seizures. It's urgen that you take care of that right away. As for the Lexapro... the withdrawal isn't dangerous in the same sense that Klonopin is, but it's only going to get worse. If you can't get your medication then have someone pick it up for you. Call your doctor if need be. Psych meds are nothing to mess around with. Withdrawal is VERY harsh. I know, because I have experienced it firsthand. Get those meds back into your system (take your dose as prescribed.. don't double it or anything.) You'll feel MUCH better!!!!! Good luck to you.

It's a possibility as different meds affect people in different ways. Start back on your lexapro and your klonopin and then you will know if that was the cause of your pain. Anytime you've been taking a medication for a while and you abruptly discontinue it, then more than likely you will have some type of withdrawal symptoms. Even if you don't take it as often as you are supposed to, atleast take it enough to see if your symptoms will go away. I don't take lexapro but I do take klonopin but not as often as is prescribed as it makes me sleepy. Hope this is of some help to you.

the left arm pain is classic anxiety(trust me i've had a million fake heart attakcs).it's something i've been dealing with for about 5 years now.true certain pills can help ease your mind,i found the problem was,you have to always take them.stopping can bring those feelings and thoughts back.it sounds hard but the only way to rid yourself of this is to control it in your head.believe me it can be done!you have to decide how long you are willing to let this fear control you.don't you want your life back?it's a slow process, but only through facing your fears can you overcome them.there's a book that always helped me through hard times called "Your Erroneous Zones" by Wayne Dyer.if you get a chance, check it out.hang in there ok it can get better.it's just a choice you have to make.good luck and remember if you ever need an encouraging word you're not alone.i understand what you are going through.

Bad anxiety could be an indication of withdrawal. I am on Klonopin, too, and if I forget a dose, I have terrible anxiety. Try to take your meds as prescribed; have them right by your bed with a glass of water, and take them.
Hope you feel better.

I am on Paxil and Klonopin. I can not give you a medical advice since I am not a Doctor, you should seek a professional help. I would go see a doctor who prescribed these Meds ASAP.

Definitely talk to your doctor. Find out if you should return to the doses you had been on or should take less (depending on how long you were on them and also how long you have been off of them) but get back on them ASAP. The withdrawal will go away almost immediately (in my experience). If you do not want to stay on them, talk to your doctor about weaning off them gradually...but cold turkey is not the way to go with these meds.

HELLO,
KLONOPIN WOULD NOT CAUSES THIS REACTION, BUT LEXAPRO MAY. THE IMPORTANT THING TO DO IS GO RIGHT BACK TO THE RECOMMENDED DOSAGE AGAIN.

You need to re-start your meds ASAP. You are experiencing withdrawals caused by the meds completely leaving your system.
