Hi I have been having intense knee pain when I bend it to a certain degree, like a burning, stretching sensation. Anyone know what it might be?

it might be joint problem, you should see your doctor about this or you can take glucosamine supplement to help restore cartilage in your bone.

Well, I am not surprised you have knee pain if you have foot problems. If you are having foot problems then you are most likely compensating by changing how you walk and this, in turn, is affecting your natural gait which is affecting the proper alignment of your knee, causing your knee pain. And yes, having extra weight will cause trouble for both, but exercise is crucial for losing weight. You will find non-weight bearing or non-pounding exercises the best considering the pain you are having. Swimming, cycling (exercise bike), Stairmaster, the Elliptical are just a few suggestions. There is also Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and other things you can do for exercise. Talk to your doctor or get a referral for a physical therapist from your doctor.

1) see an orthopedic doctor.
2) If surgery is called for, seek out a large metro facility in your area that specializes in this
3) Ice your knee often - and don't bend to the point that brings on the pain until your doctor says so.

If you go to the Doctor about it he might try to talk you into knee replacement surgery. They don't like to tell you what it will really be like. So I will. while your still in the hospital they will make you exercise and walk right after the surgery. They say so it won't freeze up and they won't have to go back in and do it over. So you will walk on it hurting or not then. And the nurses at hospitals don't do alot for you anymore. They say it's to help you recover, doing things for your self. So count on not alot of help either. Plus the replacement does not last very long either. My ex husbands had the surgery and his knee is giving him all kinds of trouble now.

It may be water in the knee. Have it looked at. You don't want to let knee problems go untreated. They can develop into problems that are difficult to heal. See your doc.
