i began working at home depot recently to save up for europe but i found out its doesnt really some worth a few weeks in europe. i told them i can only do 15 hrs do to school and no longer than 5 hours a shift so i can concentrate on school work and large amounts of baseball training. well i got back from nyc and found out i have to work 18 hours this weekend and a 30 for the next week. i was so mad. i take summer courses plus weightlifting and throwing for baseball. i only have a few years left to play college baseball and i can go to europe anytime in my life. should i quit? i cant find a group to put this question in so i placed it in diet and fitness for lots of answers. thanks for your help!

if you tell the truth! that you worked at a home depot before put an explanation on why you left (such as you had an emergency to go out of State and could not call) they may see that you are in a diffident state and may except that answer because they will call the other office to find out why you left. if you put "No" that you never worked at a home depot before and they hire you and they find out later that you lied on your application, that will give them reason to fire you. It's a catch 22 darn if you do and darn if you don't but if you do decide to apply at Home Depot again, Please continue to look for work. DO Not wait for them to call you, if you wait, they may never call and you wasted all that time waiting when you could have been looking for work elsewhere. I hope this helps... -

YES. They do not treat employees well as their customers. They have the worst business practice plan. MANY of my friends have quite and moved on, they are SO MUCH happier now with a new job. Home Depot is very greedy, and does not treat their employee well.

just talk to your manager, stress the fact that your life is hectic and most likely they will understand. You'd be better off as a stocker at a grocery store. They are really flexible and have enough guys where you can get the hours when you want and how many you want. If none of that work then maybe save europe for later on in life

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website
http://www.hawkeyep.info , they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!

I would quit. They don't care about you. You don't have to show any loyalty to them! Quit! You could probably get paid the same working at a Blockbuster. They would work with you concerning the hours. And you would get free movies! :)

dosent sound very fair sonce youre really busy. If you do quit, have a back up job. So then you can quit, and fall on a (probably) better job.

I am sure you could find another job. I hate jobs that do not give kids a break.
