She wasn't "picked" to carry Christ because she was so pure - but rather because she was willing to submit to the challenge.
Thats in John - right at the beginning of the book when the angel tells her shes with child.

I have not been able to find any of the items you ask for about Mary. Jesus accended to heaven and was conceived of the Holy Spirit not Mary. I hope that this helps. I do not find in the Bible it says when Mary died and under what conditions. We know that John the Beloved took her into his home. Not much after that is really said about Mary the Mother of Jesus.

I'll offer Luke 11:27-28 and let Scripture speak for itself:
As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, "Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you."
He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
And 1 Timothy 2:5--
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
I wonder how much of the emphasis that's put on Mary has to do with Catholics' lack of knowledge of the Bible. Do they study it? Do they read it for themselves? Granted, there are far too many non-Catholics as well who don't know what the Bible says even though they claim to believe it. I think the key is for each of us who claims to be Christian to diligently study the Bible ourselves and to pray for others to come to a personal and relevant relationship with God by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. I hope the first link below will be helpful for Catholics and non-Catholics alike.
Fenian1916, to answer your questions and to ask one as well:
1. The Bible alone as opposed to what else? What other authority and what basis for that authority are you referring to or suggesting?
2. Ephesians 2:8-9
3. Acts 16:31, among other passages; however, becoming a follower of Christ is more than just a single act--it is a lifestyle. Check out the first link below for an article on what it means to live our our salvation, as opposed to the notion of "once saved, always saved."

You probably won't get the answer you're looking for. Because it's not there.
Mary was not conceived by the Holy Spirit. Mary had two natural parents, just like the rest of us. She did, however conceive Jesus by the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 1:20
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Luke 1:35
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

In Matthew 1:18 "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: after His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together. she was found with child of the Holy Spirit"
Luke 1:35 "And the angel answered and said to her "The Holy spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you..."

Today most Protestants are unaware of these early beliefs regarding Mary’s virginity and the proper interpretation of "the brethren of the Lord." And yet, the Protestant Reformers themselves—Martin Luther, John Calvin, and Ulrich Zwingli—honored the perpetual virginity of Mary and recognized it as the teaching of the Bible, as have other, more modern Protestants.

Why do you ask questions you already know the answer to?
If you do a word study using Mary, you will find no biblical verse that supports your question. Sorry. None.

Brother, you and I know it is not in there. Mary was a mere mortal woman who was highly favored by God and Gave birth to Jesus while still a virgin, but after that she had several other children from procreating with Joseph and she died just like every other person.

i will do this when you tell me where in the bible we are to find the following, not to offend or get on you or anyone else but merely asking you
where does the bible say it is our sole rule of authority ie.bible alone?
where does the bible tell us that by faith alone we are saved?
where does it say by a single act one is saved by proclaiming jesus as their personal lord and savior and accepting him into their heart and then be immersed in baptismal waters,in a symbolic manner?
