Jesus said someone will be sent after him -- he will leave so the Final Prophet or “Comforter” can come with a final law that would JUDGE and establish legal commands of God to follow.
"But now I go my way to Him that sent me and none of you asketh me, 'Wither goest thou?' But because I have said these things unto you sorrow hath filled your heart. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth, for if I go not away, the [Last Prophet/Comforter] will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and approve righteousness and judgement" ----- John 16:5-8
To approve righteousness and Judgement means a new LAW would be sent through the Last Prophet.
Obviously Jesus is not talking about the “Holy Spirit” being the comforter/Prophet because the Holy Spirit has already come as once as a dove and many times before that.
The Holy Spirit has already come many times --- (Luke 1:15,Luke 1:41,Luke 1:67,Luke 2:25-26) and it is a divine “favor” or understanding….. not an actual person or Prophet.
And I will pray to the Lord, and he shall give you another [Prophet/Comforter/Spirit of Truth], that [his example] may abide with you for ever. (John 14:16-17)
As a mercy unto mankind God has promised to send down and protect a final complete message(Holy book) and code of life (human example) before sealing the Prophethood.
The Sunnah (example of the Prophet) is kept alive by every Muslim copying the life of the Prophet Mohammed.
---------------------
"But the Comforter[Prophet/Comforter/Spirit of Truth], whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your “remembrance”, whatsoever I have said unto you."—John 14:26.
The true message of Jesus, Moses and the Last Prophet is kept alive forever through the memorization and daily recitation of the Quran.
"I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. How be it when he, the Spirit of truth , is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak- ----- John 16:12-14 -
This shows that the disciples were not given a full code of life nor a full message of absolute truth. Rather they were given glad tidings that a final Prophet would come who would teach them all the truth which would not only confirm what was said before but would tell of much more to come.
Holy Quran 5:48 To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the truth of whatever there still remains of earlier revelations, determining what is true therein, and guarding it in safety:

Popular argument for the Muslims. The comforter is NOT a person, therefore cannot be a prophet. The comforter came 40 days after Christ left. Yes, there is a mix up, and, the comforter is the Holy Spirit, [not Mohammed(SAWS] which is the intercessor for us, and the one that works for the "Father" which is the timeless and eternal One, which the Muslims do not call "Father." But Christ called Him Father, because he is the Originator. Father is a metaphor for originator. Just like the Muslims would say that "God" is 99 times more than "Mother." He didn't have to have sexmany times over to be considered "Our Father." We can pick, pick, and find we are needing to take logs out of our eyes to see clearly enough to pick the sliver out of someone else's eyes.
Christ knew far more than we even know now. Yes, there still are many things that the Holy Spirit has and will reveal to us even later. "The young men will see visions and the old men will dream dreams". We also are instructed to not follow after someone, when it is said, l"ook here, or look there," Christ said, "The Kingdom of God is WITHIN you."
It is imperative to study the original language to get the full knowlege of words and meanings in the "Scriptures." People rarely do that, even those in the "Christian faith."
Paraclete (sp?) is not a person, but a presence or spirit.
The Holy Spirit comes and goes as He wills.
Resting upon someones head here, or moving someone to do something there.
They needed Comfort, as they had to learn to stand on their "own" after Christ left. They needed Someone there to sustain them in their missing and depending on Christ so much, so they wouldn't scatter, like the "sheep scattering when the shepherd leaves."

The funny thing is that this Arab uses an alias that means "Jew," when in fact he hates Jews and Christians.
But to answer his provocative question, the hadiths have various applicable references.
Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64 -Narrated 'Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he had sex with her when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).
Hadith : 1:229. I used to wash the traces of Janaba (semen) from the clothes of the Prophet and he used to go for prayers while traces of water were still on it (water spots were still visible).
ISHAQ:166 You have recited to the people that which I did not bring to you from Allah, and you have said that which He did not say to you. The Messenger was grieved and feared Allah greatly.
Bukhari, Vol 2, No. 167 "The sun eclipsed and the prophet jumped up terrified that it might be the Hour (of Judgment)."

No, no, no, Jesus went to be with His Father, God in Heaven. He sent the Holy Spirit to indwell in Christians and to be their comforter. Not a profit.
In Acts 2:32-33, Peter explains that God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witness of the fact. Exalted to the right hand of God, and he has received from the
father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
Read all of the 2 chapter of Acts. The answer is there........ It is the person of the Holy Spirit that is our comforter not a profit.

Maybe this two prophet's
Revelation 11:3-7
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Oh, you are very much mistaken
The Comforter is the Holy Spirit,
who will (if you allow Him to), guide
you into all truth.

To answer the guy on top of me, his hypocrisy is amazing
A guy who hates Islam, Uses the name Mohammad, yet he says nothing to him
Some may say that Prophet Mohammad is in no way a Comforter:
Some examples are:
Even the plants loved the Prophet (SAWS). The Prophet used to give his speeches next to a palm tree in his mosque in Madinah. He used to place his hand on the trunk while giving his speeches so that everybody could see him. After the minbar (pulpit) was built for him, he left the trunk and went to sit on the minbar.
This next Hadith is narrated by Bukhari. The companions said, “We heard the palm tree moaning like a cow about to give birth. The Prophet came down from his minbar and took it in his arms. The moaning of the tree trunk subsided little by little until it stopped. The Prophet patted it and said, 'Won’t you be happy to be buried here with me, and then be with me in paradise?' And the moaning stopped completely.”[17]
Glory be to Allah! Even the trunk longed for the Prophet (SAWS).
Another example is the Prophet's servant “Thawban”. One day the Prophet (SAWS) went out and he took a long time to return. When he arrived, he found Thawban crying. He asked him about the reason for his crying. Thawban said, “I missed you, O Prophet of Allah”. The Prophet asked him if this was the only reason for his crying and Thawban replied, “No Prophet of Allah, that’s not the only reason. You went away for just one day and I missed you, so I remembered Jannah (Paradise), where you will be in the highest level and I will be where I will be. I won’t be with you so I’ll miss you in the Jannah, and that is why I cried.” But the Prophet told him, “Thawban, don’t you know that everyone of us will be assembled with those whom he loves!”[16]
The companions were never happier with any other Hadith than this one, since they loved the Prophet (SAWS) with all their hearts.
Let us now see how the Prophet (SAWS) loved us. One day the companions found him crying so they asked him about the reason for his distress. He said, “I am missing my brothers.” They asked again, “Aren’t we your brothers, O Prophet of Allah?” He replied, “You are my companions. My brothers are those who will come after my time and will believe in me even though they have not seen me.”[18]

You are sadly decieved. You have twisted these scriptures to justify your own beliefs. The Bahais say they have the last prophet and so do the Mormons. Your Muhammed is in the same category as these.
