HELLO KARI,

UNFORTUNATELY BRACES ARE THE ONLY MEANS. YOU MAY HAVE HEARD OF INVISALIGN. THESE ARE STILL LIKE BRACES AND THEY HURT EVEN MORE THAN STANDARD BRACES.
MANY OF THE THINGS ARE OPINIONS OF PEOPLE AND THEY WILL MOSTLY ONLY TELL YOU THE NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT BRACES. THERE CAN BE SOME MILD DISCOMFORT AT TIMES BUT IT'S NOT A CONTINUOUS DAILY PAIN. WHY EVEN ASK ABOUT THEM IF YOU'RE WISHING TO AVOID GETTING THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHY EVEN GET OUT OF THEM?

Best is to talk to your dentist or ortho. I had braces when I was younger and it wasn't as bad as ppl think or I thought. The first few days of putting them on are painful but not too much after. I thought they would look bad but just think, you get them off in a few years and have perfect teeth. It builds your confidence, even the first day you have it on. The price depends on your area, if you have insurance, what you need to do and how long you have them. Depending on how your smile is, there are veneers and Lumineers that can straighten your smile. But best to talk about all the options with your dentist. They'll give you more personalized options. Good luck!

Invisalign. Clear braces, but dont look like them and u cant see them! Like a retainer after braces. I want them! cost as much as braces i think. go to www.invisalign.com i think take a look. u need all adult teeth though. probably not molars though.

You could always ask your orthodontist and your insurance company about those invisi-line things. They are clear fitted trays that just slip over your teeth. I think you will have to have a mold made of your teeth, but it isn't as bad as it seems. I had to have it done before I had my wisdom teeth cut out.
