i'm 5'4 and go between 106 and 112 alot. when i hit 102 a couple years ago, my weight loss stopped there. no matter how hard i tried, i couldnt get any lower. i think everyone's body has a plateau that they get stuck on after a bit. you say you work out and exercise, but do you also diet? every pound equals 3500 calories. try taking some extra cals out everyday and maybe it'll help after a bit. i know that plateau sucks. good luck girl.

Part of anorexia or bulimia is not having an accurate body image. That means you don't know when you're too thin or too fat. I mention this because your parents are right, you are underweight. A person 5' 4 1/2" should weigh 115-135. You are at least 5 lbs underweight, maybe as much as 15 lbs.
As for the kids at your school, all you have to say to them is "My doctor says I'm the right weight. " They are probably saying you are fat because they are jealous, or to feel like they have power over you. Don't let them get away with that!
Good luck to you.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

You really do not need to lose any weight. You're at the perfect weight for your height. It is right at normal yours being 18.6 and the normal ranging from 18.5 to 24.9. So don't listen to the people at your school because they obviously don't know what they are talking about. Keep strong and good luck.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

People at school are usually stupid. Your parents are trying to help and you already have the exercise part down. I'm going to assume you already eat healthy. Just put their comments behind you and keep up what you're already doing.

ummm...yeah. You aren't fat. If you are happy with yourself, then keep it that way. You are actually UNDERWEIGHT. A girl who is 5'4 should weigh about 130 lbs. So, love yourself for who you are, and tell those people at school to shove it!
