does it matter?
because HERE YOU ARE
in the here and now
how you got here is irrelevant.
what you choose to do with your existence IS relevant.

You can't choose to exist. If you did choose to exist, then you would probably also choose how your whole life would go, and you wouldn't have any bad things happen to you. Also you wouldn't have to make any choices because afterall, you had the power to choose to be born, and therefore (if you're not a great fool) you made all your decisions about your life before you even existed. So freewill would serve no purpose. This means that if you chose to be born you wouldn't have the free will that you DO HAVE now. Nice little paradox isn't it? JESUS died to take away everybodys sin. It's a free gift that can be received by anyone. I'm sorry that some Christians act high and righteous because we're NOT. I (as a christian) am absolutely NOTHING without GOD. So exercise that free will (or don't, your choice). But please take this to heart.

This is actually a good question, because it lets people know that there are other people out there that really do not know what free will is and what it means.
Your "free will" didn't start until after you were born. You came from heaven, but you make the choice wether or not to return.
Your in control, which means you are also held responsible for your actions.
You've still got much to learn.

Ask your mom and dad about your birth. I guess it was their choice to have a child. I don't think any of us had a choice in the matter, and that's nothing new. What other form would you suggest. Ask children before they are born if they want to be born? You have been given choices all of your life. You had the choice to choose to, or not to, list this question.

I guess you could feel that way if you think you didn't choose to be born but I believe we all chose to be here and the whole point is to face the challenge of our "free will" how we treat others and of course how we treat ourselves can expand our souls and make us whole. You have the will to be kind, caring, giving and nonjudgmental all the while learning a tremendous amount about how amazing it is to be unique or you could mope around aimlessly never feeling fulfillment ...it is your will to do so!!!!!

you didn't choose to be born, but God chose you to be born because he has a plan for your life, whether you CHOOSE to follow it is your choice...that's your free will, you can choose to follow the world and it's sin or you can follow God and walk on his path...you have the freedom to wear what you want right? the freedom to say what you want? the freedom to act like you want? to do what you want? that is all free will, it's a very broad topic...so anything you do, whether it's physical, or emotionally, or spiritually, it's free will....your decision

God gave us free will and He has never taken it away from you. Your parents took away your free will, don't blame God. I think your grasping at straws here. If you think your question is really deep, it's not.

Geesh, you have to have life (be born/alive) to have free will, silly thing! No paradox here.....no chicken and egg......your being born was a choice your parents made of their free will....then you rec'd your free will! Use your power for good - not evil - young jedi!

Maybe God does ordain His universe then. If being physically born is a gift, then perhaps being spiritually born is a gift, too.

Without existence there is no intellect, will or soul. If you wish you can still excercise your free will and end your existence. It would be a very dumb choice, but it is still your choice to be or not to be. Granting your life was the bestowal of your free will, goofball.

You're right you didn't choose to be born, but once you are born you have free will.
