Christians say, we hate Muhammad because:

He fought battles- read the Bible, sooo many of the Prophets fought battles, eg. David and Solomon

He had more than 1 wife- its easier to name the Prophets who didnt have more than 1 wife.

He married Aisha when she was quite young- please read how young Isaac's wife was when he married her.

He rejected the trinity, and preached monotheism- ALL of the Prophets preached monotheism, and none of them, including Jesus, preached the trinity.

'And indeed (many) Messengers were mocked at before you (O Muhammad SAW), but I granted respite to those who disbelieved, and finally I punished them. Then how (terrible) was My Punishment!' (Qur'an 13:32)

Aquila I accept that Jesus was born of a virgin, but that does not make him God. Adam was created without mother or father, would he not be more deserving of the title son of God?
God does not have children.

Not all Christians insult Muhammad. I am a Christian and I have great respect for Muhammad. He was someone who saw the truth that there is one God and that the Judgment Day is coming and preached it.
The doctrine of the trinity does not conflict with monotheism. Christians believe in the oneness and unity of God. Jesus said, "I and the Father are ONE." (John 10:30).
I would love to talk to you more about this dear Muslim friend. I love to meditate on the perfection of God, including His oneness. But I am afraid this is not the appropriate time and place...

Maybe I am missing something, but in watching lots of news programs, reading newspapers, etc. I have not seen anyone discuss the topics you have mentioned. So do have any specific examples of public figures, or news outlets (not your classmate or your cousin's neighbor) making these statements.
Actually to the contray, there has been so little discussion of Muhammad it is surprising.
And I don't know one active knowlegable Christian who would dispute the facts you listed.

The biggest difference between Muhammad and the prophets of the old testament is that the other prophets prophesied about Jesus as the Son of God and Savior to the world, Muhammad does not.

By the way, true Christians do not insult anyone purposefully. Being a Christian doesn't mean you are perfect, it means that you have turned from your sins to God. And to the side note question from Aquila. Read Genesis 3:15. The inheretence of Adam is a tendancy to sin, we carry his sin from the day we were born. To be free of sin, Jesus had to be born of a vrigin with no male involvement.

Dear Friend, a real christian shall not hate anyone.coz God is Love.God is looking for His child as we do the same for our child if they lost.God is seeking your heart.
Jesus said in : Lu 6:27
"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, "
I advise you to read this part of Bible. http://bible.crosswalk.com/OnlineStudyBible/bible.cgi?passage=lu+20:13&version=niv&context=1&showtools=1
and at the end Praise your Lord the only God and do not seek a human kind.coz human do sin. God came down and wear the Jesus body(man is not God but God can appears as man to us) as He is sovereign. I can give you more information if you like.
God is love and He may bless you.

I do not insult Muhammad nor do I hate him. I just do not accept him because Jesus said that after John the Baptist there would be no more Prophets because he (Jesus) had come.

You claim to believe that Allah is all powerful but you reject the possibility that he could (if he chose to do so) manifest himself in three distinct and different personalities and still remain One.

If that is the case then your Allah is not all powerful because there is something he can not do.

Jesus was the fulfilment of Gods revelation through the prophets for the purpose of our salvation. There is no new revelation. Such revelation is not from the spirit of the Lord but from another spirit a divisive spirit a deceiving spirit to lead man astray from the loving heavenly Father But what I do pray for is that Mary who you do venerate ( our lady of Fatima)
will lead you to her Son Jesus and we will eventually become brothers and sisters

obviously, the christians you meet kind of suck.
we aren't all like that.
but remember, christians live according to the new testament. all the actions of the prophets in the OLD testament would be unacceptable in today's teachings. such as having more than one wife.

Some people see Islam as a religion of hate- they refuse to accept anything good about it and they will twist whatever they can to be bad. You know the truth, you cannot help what ignorant people believe.
