Scary, for sure! Keep your son away from the cats. Don't let them in the house and watch their behavior for the next few days. Also, look at then through the window to see if you can see if they have any bite marks. Good Luck, I would also call the vet even if you can't afford to take the cats there. The phone call and all that information is free.

take the bat to the vet or have the animal control come and get it,they should do the testing themselves.as for the cats check them for any bites or scratches if none are present then thank god and keep them inside and quranteened for 10 days and watch them for any changes, if they do have bites or scratches then by all means get them started on the rabies treatment.have the cats gotten thier rabies shots to start with,if not then if you have a problem with bats get them their shots every year, they are worth it,some humane socities will help pay for this shot, besides isnt it now worth the peace of mind?as for the baby, just keep the kitties away from him, till the scare is over, like i said if they have already gooten the shot then they should be ok,as for the bat get someone there to get it and hope there is some brain left to get tested.please dont blame the cats,im a big cat person and my hearts pounding for you now,let me know how it goes, lol.

. I have never heard of anyone getting rabies from a bat. One of those little bats that fly around, is too small to carry much infection, so don't worry.Unless of course Dracula is around biting you all.Who told you bats carry Rabies? You can on occasions get rabies from a dog, cat, fox, or a Vampire Bat. Vampire Bats only live in South and Central America. They rarely feed on human blood. So you will be OK. Good Luck!

Pray to God continuously on an identical time as attempting, as God enables people who help themselves quite than people who're lazy. Lord Krisna pronounced in Bhagavad Gita, we'd desire to accomplish our works and resign the fruit of our action. So we'd desire to shop attempting and discover exhilaration in doing our artwork, no count if or no longer we get the needed result. we'd desire to continuously no longer lose desire. Do your terrific and pass away something to God,it is going to all come suited some day or evening.

I believe they used to quarintine people and animals that had rabies until it passed. Call the vet and ask, the call cant cost anything. If you know anybody really old ask them what they used to do.
