thats because when you starve your body it loses water weight and muscle NOT fat and slows down metabolism dramatically - your body is in starvation mode now and will transfer everything you eat into fat reserves and eat up your muscle as a source of energy to survive.
if you dont want to get worse then i suggest you start eating healthy - 5-8 servings of veggies and fruit a day, plenty of complex carbs, protein and healthy fats.

you have a common problem: you hit a wall. The "caveman" that's wired into your genes is fighting back! What you think is good (weight loss); your genes think are bad (starvation). If you cut back on calories, you are going to become malnourished, since there are literally hundreds of things you need to be getting from your diet on a daily basis. The less you eat, the more likely you will become deficient... So, what to do? The answer is to eat as healthy (vegetarian) a diet as possible... and to exercise like crazy! Whatever you're doing, it's not enough. You say you exercise 4-5 times a week? Not enough! Exercise every day, one or two times a day! Do different things so you don't get bored: bike, walk, hike, run, do sprints, work out (gym), buy a trampolene and jump while watching tv, calisthenics (pushups, situps), jump rope, use
dumbells, walk instead of driving, take the stairs, park as far away as possible... get the picture? Your activity level is the problem. The father of American health, and one of my idols, Jack LaLaine; he works out 3 hours a day BEFORE having breakfast! That's 21 hours a week! If you change your habits, your weight will be ideal for your new activity level; you won't have to stress about your weight (whatever it happens to be), because you'll look and feel great! Good luck to you.

In every person who tries to lose weight, they plateau at some point where they stay the same weight for a while. You have reached this point. Keep going and eventually you will begin to lose weight.
I just have to add in here that you don't eat way too much on the weekends, but you probably don't eat enough during the week. A healthy body needs more than 800 calories in a day. Why not try eating an average 1200 calories every day (including weekends) and work out just as much as you do now, and then you will get all the nutrients you need, and hopefully get over your plateau. Best of luck!

You are a beautiful young girl. Don't let anything or anyone tell you otherwise. You are still growing and your hormones are crazy. If you are a little bigger than you want to be, everything will work out in a couple years.
What you are doing to your body right now is AWFUL. You are going to be nutrient-deprived and have a ton of medical problems in just a few years if you don't cut it out.
Eat what you want (within reason)! Don't think about working out- go out and have fun. 135 pounds at 5'3" is a good weight.. the healthy range is 105-138. If you want to lose a few more pounds, keep up the excercise but increase your calories. Losing about a pound a week is the healthiest way to lose weight.

If you take in too few calories then you will end up slowing down your metabolism which will not help lose weight and it is not healthy to eat so few at your age since you are still growing and changing. Also what you eat is also what counts not only how much. Try and get a variety like fruit, veggies, wheat bread, and things that are healthy and good for your body. Also maybe go walking daily for 30-1hr. Make sure your not starving yourself though, that is something you don't want to get into believe me.

i do not recommend lowering your calorie intake further. actually, i suggest topping it off to about 1,200 a day for all but one "cheat" day instead of the (presumably) 2 weekend days. also, increase your exercise intensity. that is, increase sets, reps, duration and/or distance. since you have been doing it for some time now, your body has adapted to the diet and the stress, and thus, the plateau. you have lost quite a significant amount already, so i believe you have an idea on what you are doing.
having said that, you are young and you should be enjoying your life. if you keep your diet clean and healthy and live a good active lifestyle, you will get to a good optimal weight without having to worry about it.

weight loss doesn't happen the same all of the time. Your body will lose more at certain times than others. It does not mean that you are stuck at this weight and that next week will bring no weight loss.
The goal of 115 sounds great, very healthy for your height. And it sounds like what you're doing is working in general.
To be honest, though, your desperation is slightly concerning. I understand how it is to be very concerned about weight. Unfortunately, fixating on it does not increase your body's metabolism any more than if you ate healthy and tried to value other things in life, too. If you feel like your weight is causing you a lot of stress, it is ok to talk to someone about it.

go to school and have fun. Why do you want to weigh so little??? You'll probably hit a growth spirt and then your weight will fall into a different catergorie.
Go play volleyball or something, but if you are DETERMINED to lose more, do it with the supervision on a dietitian or doctor, this is the usual age when eating disorders usually start, please be careful.
