North Wilkesboro Speedway, and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Went to the Daytona 500 once, that tracks just too dam big all you see is little specks on the far side. At North Wilkesboro you can see the drivers steering the cars as they circle. Short tracks rule!

recently Richard Petty and Dale Inman visited North Wilkesboro Speedway and have nice recollections of the track. Petty says it looks like with just a little fixing they could race there again. I wish they would!

North Wilksboro North Carolina. Unfortunately, it is no longer a part of NASCAR and they may have even destroyed it but I really enjoyed going to a race at Wilksboro. A small track with a lot of exciting races. I also like Darlington South Carolina but today's favorite will have the be Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte North Carolina.

Well, since I live in Alabama, naturally it USED to be Talledega. I went there many times as a kid. However, being a Gordon fan, it's kinda like walking into a meat-grinder now. So I guess the track I like seeing the drivers race on the most would be Bristol. I'd like to go someday, but I've heard it's hard to keep up with all the action.
I still love to watch Talledega racing...on TV....

I would have to say Talladega, Running 3 and 4 wide into the corners, the first superspeedway on the circut. Then running a VERY close second would have to be Bristol, there is always a thrill when you get 43 guys driving as fast as they can in an area about the size of a football feild.

Watkins Glen International, I go there every year and has a lot of stuff to do other than the race track as well. Wine tasting , water sports, hiking and little shops to buy nascar merchandise in the town. I have gone to other tracks and when it rains, not much to do.

I am gonna have to go with....Talladega!!!

I have been to both Talladega and Daytona twice and it is not that same. You just never know who is gonna lead the next lap, anything can happen big at any given second. The spots change every lap it never gets boring. 3 and 4 wide keeps you on your feet and out of your seat.

Bristol is great but you can't really get to racing there untill after 8 cars get wrecked out.

Anything thats a short track for all the action, and road courses, as those bring out the true talent in a driver.

Darlington! There is always action, plus you have to love a track where even the best drivers slam the wall all night long!!
