Great Question!
There has been some awesome ones (Mission Impossible, Hawaii Five-O, Miami Vice, X-Files) and some wacky ones (Addams Family, Green Acres, Sanford and Son, Happy Days) but the best was sung by Johnny Rivers in 1966-the Theme From Secret Agent Man

OMG! theres so many..Rockford Files, X-Files, Starsky & Hutch, I Love Lucy, My Three Sons, Simon & Simon, Hardcastle & McCormick, The Munsters, Addams Family, Patty Duke Show, Creature Features, Theme from Love Boat, Theme from S.W.A.T and so on and so on.

I've always been fond of the "Knight Rider" theme as well as the theme for Star Trek "Enterprise" & "Deep Space 9", however come to think about it, I also really like the theme of "Babylon 5". Actually I like too many to pick just one, lol.

but i grew up watching miami vice
i still think the soundtrack is cool
it was ground-breaking
