Ok, so I have this guy friend. He likes my best friend Whitney but shes not allowed to date. Robert ( my guy friend) is always hitting on her and trying to get her to disobey her parents. He takes his shirt off whenever he gets the chance, he wont let any other guys hang out with us in fear that she will like them better, and hes extremely rude to me. Whitney really likes him. Robert is really creepy too. Like he will drive by where she works and watch her. Hes nutz and changing my best friend. I miss her and she doesnt see what a loser he is. It makes me sob! Please, a little help would be appreciated!

I agree with Linda about nearly everything. I'm not so sure about telling the parents, but given how wise the rest of her post is, that may be wise too.
Here's all I can add for my 2 points (and to make this worth posting):
When Robert tries to drive other guys away, say something like:
"Don't pay any attention to him. Come (sit/stand) (right here/by me). Robert thinks that if Whitney gets to know any other guys, she'll probably like them better than she likes him. Don't let him get away with it!"
If you adopt this strategy, be prepared for Robert to get abusive with you, verbally and/or physically. And either that will open Whitney's eyes or it won't--in which case you need to keep up to date on the phone numbers for battered women's hotlines in your area.
P.S. Back to Linda's answer: The right way for her parents to protect Whitney is NOT to forbid her from seeing Robert; that just turns him into the forbidden fruit that any human is always going to crave. What the right way *is* I don't know, but since her parents presumably know Whitney . . .

Ok, first of all you need to talk to your friend Whitney here. You need to let her know how you feel about all of this; if shes your best friend then she should take the time to listen to you.

If that doesn't work then I would say to Robert. This would be a good time to use a lot of courage, and you need to tell him something along the lines of: "if you really like my friend as much as you say you do, then you need to back off. You know perfectly well that her parents won't let her date. You do not control her, she can talk to whatever guy she wants, she can hang out with any guy she wants because you certainly don't own her."

I hope this helps.

Hey, this is a little more serious than you being mad at your friend. You should also be scared and worried for her. This guy sounds REALLY CREEPY, and when he finally is allowed to date her, oh man ... she is in for a rude awakening. She should try to LOSE him right now!!!! He has all the signs of possessiveness, controlling, and he'll abuse her physically it sounds like. He'll try to get her to turn away from you and her family, and it'll be a nightmare. What is she thinking? You NEED to tell her parents about this guy, but tell them NOT to tell her that you said anything. They need to try to protect her, but they'd better go about it the right way, or she will turn against them if she starts going out with him. GOOD LUCK! Thanks for caring for your friend!

There are a pair of issues that at recent spring to my strategies when I examine this submit. one million. you have in basic terms been dating him for six weeks, this is not so which you will verify the timing of whilst he might desire to pass forward with this. You sound extremely youthful, (sorry if i'm incorrect, and that i don't advise to sound patronising) and it sounds from what you're saying right here as in case you have not had plenty interior the way of long-term committed relationships, so this is probably not elementary so which you will understand what he is going by using. It takes an prolonged time to recover from the breakup of such an substantial dating, and he would be feeling conflicted, perplexed probably responsible and grieving. in case you fairly care approximately him, you will might desire to delve deep interior and discover in spite of reserves of compassion and selflessness you could and help him by using this fairly undesirable time. 2. whether or not he's divorced from her, he will might desire to have a dating along with her for some years, because of the fact they have a newborn mutually. in case you will join his life, you will might desire to settle for this with solid grace, for his sake and the youngster's. you will additionally might desire to settle for that the youngster's desires might desire to come first, and that that's maximum suitable for that youngster that they are friendly with one yet another. sure, it might desire to be not elementary, yet whilst he's properly worth it, then i'm particular you will discover the internal potential to administration. in case you could not settle for it fairly is the way you will might desire to be, then my maximum suitable advice is to provide up this dating and discover somebody who's extra acceptable to you, ie somebody with out committed realationships in the back of them and no little ones to think approximately. i'm not criticising, purely looking at which you're showing solid signs and indications which you're actually not acceptable to one among those dating on the 2nd - besides the certainty that in case you cared adequate to, i'm particular you may desire to alter this, and grow to be the companion, variety, loving and supportive, that he desires on the 2nd.
