Gross. You should probably try an acne body wash on your booty. And try to keep it dry with talcum powder.

You can get zits anywhere you have skin. The ones on the "buttocal" area are usually because you don't scrub your backside well, and you wear your clothing a bit snug. Skin needs air and light on occasion, to help keep the bacteria under control. Since neither one get to that particular area on a regular basis, cleanliness and looseness of clothing become issues. The sweat needs to be able to be absorbed and evaporate, and some air should be able to circulate. Try using a scubbie on your posterior, using the soap of your choice, and going commando at night. Buy pants that fit a little looser in the bum, and undies made of cotton. Obviously the undies should be changed daily, and wearing them daily really is important. If your pants material rubs agains the bum, it can irritate the sweat glands and hair follicles, which allows the bacteria of the skin to get under the skin and make zits. Meantime, scrub the buns, and don't poke at the zits. It will make matters worse, they will get bigger, and then you will really have problems.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

They could be zits. How big are we talking? A size of a rice grain, or a size like a walnut?
Walnut size could be a boil.
Rice grain is probably a zit, or a prickly heat.
Prickly heat is little bumps that are normally red and hurt. It is caused by sweat.

It is common to have zits in that area. Be sure you only wear cotton underwear. If they are extremely painful and really hot feeling, then you could have a boils, and you need a Doctor to treat them safely. Otherwise, wear cotton, wash and dry well, and put Tea Tree Oil over them two or three times daily (available at Walmart and Drug and Health Food stores). Good luck in your treatment.

My girlfriend squeezes the zits and pluck hairs on my back, I don't have any on my butt though. We have an unspoken rule, under no circumstances is she to sqeeze anything on my face or neck!

Pimples on your bottom are common, but the could be caused by other problems.

In WWII they found that people with hairy butts who drove jeeps (which have very hard seats) would get lots of sores on their bottom, because the ends hairs would be pushed up into the skin and get infected...not very nice.

Try various treatments, from pimple cream, to washing more regularly in hot weather.

You can get a zit basically anywhere so I guess it would be normal. Sounds painful.

Yes, they are normal. It sounds like it might be cystic acne, which just means really big and really painful. Get Neutrogena Body Clear body wash and use it daily. You can also spot treat using an over the counter acne cream or even Clearasil Pads.

Yes, this is normal. I would try washing with an antibacterial soap and try to keep the area dry. I suffer from similar cases from time to time when I sweat excessively from exercise. I use an antibacterial wash and cleanse further with an astringent. Then I use a feminine deodorant spray to keep the area dry (or if you are male, use powder). It helps a lot.
