Can someone get hit by lightening if riding a bike with a storm in the area?

I heard one could get hit but nothing would happen cause of being on rubber tires.( Mountain Bike) Also thinking metal or aluminium would attrack lightening. Also riding in wide open spaces. Am I safe on the bike? Or What?

Anything out in the open is fair game for lightning, rubber tires or not.

yeah, you can still get hit an you can die.
