Christianity degrades women when it comes to the gift of giving birth.

It makes it seem like a curse when it really isn't

I think thats wrong and it's one of the many reasons I am not a Christian.

Another thing, did eve come to you and ask you if she should eat from the tree, Why do you have to suffer fo what someone else does.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they caused all mankind to become separated from God. God had told them that the tree's fruit would cause them to have the knowledge of good and evil which they did not have before. He told them that they would die if they ate the fruit of the tree. They didn't listen. Just the same as us.

We inherit the sin nature that came upon them. This sin nature as for told by God, causes death, disease, pain and suffering. That is the reason that God Himself came down from Heaven in the form of the man Jesus, to overcome what man has brought upon himself. Jesus suffered and died in our place for our sin. If we depend on Him he will remove our pain, diseases and our death.

It is true that women must suffer pain in childbirth but, the result of that suffering is so awesome that it is bearable and soon forgotten or we wouldn't do it more than once. Men must now, also work for their shelter and food. This consequence is brought on by all of us because of our disobedience.

God placed man and woman together as equals. He made a helpmate for Adam. This is found in Genesis.

I even have watched countless animals provide start and all of them gave start quietly, in basic terms like they have been having a poop. My canines became the only guy or woman who i spotted her respiratory matched her contractions completely. She became extra interested in fiddling with the different canines on the time, that I saved from her in the time of exertions yet she would be able to open doors etc... (She's a German Shepherd) She has given start thrice and each and every time myself and my little ones have had to seek for the domestic dogs around the domicile and backyard, coz she in basic terms drops and runs :)

Because back then Eve was the mother of all.
So all women would have to suffer b/c of her mistake.
But its not just the women, Adam failed to protect his garden (Eve) from the serpent...so all males are punished now too.
They dont get everything handed to them like Adam first did, now they have to work for it.
And ontop of it all we are now born with original sin...
Way to go Adam and Eve.

The pain associated with giving birth (or any species) has absolutely NOTHING to do with ANY kind of punishment (from God or other sources and causes).

You state for us to read Genesis. Have you?

Is it written in the Bible that Eve and all female creatures were giving birth BEFORE 'the fall'? And that after the fall that "pain" was added? I don't think so. Show me where it is written/taught in the Bible that reproduction, sex, birth, etc., was going on before "the fall'?

Eve (Really Adam and Eve) were given the commandment to 'multiply and replenish' the earth, right?

Well, prior to what we interpret as being "the fall", how much "multiplying and replenishing" did they do? ZERO. God did all the 'creating'.

Why was that?

And, why was it that they began to reproduce only AFTER 'the fall'?

Genesis indicates that what we call 'the fall' caused some kind of change in both Adam and Eve.

From the story that is told, it appears that they became "self-aware"--self-conscious; evidenced by them feeling 'guilt'--avoiding responsibility, and covering their naked bodies)...

....it appears they knew nothing of 'sex and reproduction', as that concept had NOT been introduced, taught or spoken of in the story of Genesis...

...through "a decision" to become AS the god(S) by "knowing good from evil" (not knowing good AND evil, but good FROM evil), the were "accursed"--as in they NOW had to take responsibility and become accountable for that decision...and ALL of their decisions from that time forward...and now THEY would have to 'create' (multiply and replenish the earth) versus God dong it for them...and understandably, along with birth comes pain!?!?

...this "decision" not only changed their 'awareness' (consciousness), but this change in 'consciouness' also directly affected their physical, emotion, psychological and mental attributes as well...

...this is how 'severe', important or significant this 'decision' was...

...not only did this decision affect Eve...it also (according to you) affected ALL female creatures, as ALL then began to reproduce...and with reproduction comes all the things that come with reproduction, and that includes "pain"...

By the way, "pain" is (often) a physiological, emotional and psychological response to 'fear.'

Regards,

Imagine that the first two chapters were in the middle of the book of Revelation. That should help clarify the meaning of the text.

Child birth is painful because squeezing out something the size of a watermelon through an opening the size of a lemon hurts.... had nothing to do with a talking snake and an eaten apple. It was just a story to help give explaination to it (as stated by another).

Pain in childbirth is not a punishment for original sin but a part of the birthing process.

It is not punishment. It is a condition of imperfection. We do not know how much pain a perfect human body would have giving birth, but we are aware of an imperfect body has.

God gave Eve a warning of what was to come as she had had no children yet.

First of all----you are taking the Genesis story literally....many Christians do not. Secondly---what makes you think the punishment was for Eve only?
