At 30 days the vet may be able to feel the puppies. At 45 days they will show up on an xray. There are also blood tests that can be done when they are about 2 weeks along.

usually there bellies will get bigger than usual. also their nipples should get a little bigger too. usually they will try to keep cool to . Also make sure that if it is their first time having puppies that you help them because they might not know what to do. I hope this info is helpful

when my moms dog got preg, the vet said he could feel things that felt like marbles and thought she might be preg. but couldn't tell for sure at that time.
but we knew when her tummy started getting bigger and her tets starting getting bigger.

NIPLES START TO SWELL AND CONTINUE TO DO SO....AND THEN JUST LIKE PEOPLE THEY GET A SOLID CHUBBY LOOK.....LOOK FOR PROMINENT NINNIES...UNDER THE NEATH...

Ummmm...her belly starts getting bigger, or she gets really grumpy, or she isn't in heat anymore.........
