I would suggest she get the Conair Ion Shine 1875 if she wants an inexpensive one that really works. I have owned my fair share of blow dryers from expensive to inexpensive and I find this one to work better than any high priced blow dryer I have owned. It's very reasonably priced at around 23 bucks. She could also try the Conair Infiniti Professional Ionic Styler it runs in the ballpark of 40-50 bucks. I would suggest she try one of those. Especially if she doesn't want to spend 200 bucks on a blow dryer.

A red convertible sports car.

But seriously there are 3 types.

1. The sit under and dry your hair slowly type used by hair dressers. They are not really worth it at home.
2. The professional hand held hair dryers. Warning, they shoot out air that is so hot it can burn your skin, and so you have to know how to use them properly.
3. The ordinary home ones.

Basically, the hotter the better, but if you don't know how to use it, then you damage the hair.

The ones the salon professional use. You have to use a chair to sit under it. I haven't went to beauty salon since I purchased mine from Sally's Beauty Supply.

Chi products are simply amazing. They are expensive but they will last forever if you take care of them.
