My dog decided to eat a rawhide bone she burried in the backyard about 3 months ago. Now is having explosive poo...came home from work to find two separate piles. Will this pass? Parasite? ANy suggestions???

It's probably from the rawhide which could have been full of bateria. Feed her a bland diet for a couple of days (boiled white rice and boiled chicken--no fat). Ask your vet for a dosage of pepto bismol or immodium (you can try calling your local emergency hospital this late at night). If she is happy and no vomiting, she might be fine on her own in a day or two. If not, she might need some prescription meds to help.

It was probably the old rawhide with some bugs and mud in it. Check for puke too maybe he puked outside. I agree with the previous answer- give a bland diet of boiled lean chicken with boiled rice... but first you have to restrict food for a couple of hours so no treats, just to check the poop & see how she feels. If she gets lethargic, has persistent diarrhea or just decides that she doesn't wan to to eat consistently then you need to go the vet ASAP-- keep the dog hydrated-- Good Luck!

She probably ate some rotten bone or mud. It should pass but be ready to take her to the vet if she gets dehydrated. Give her bread and other heavier things to help absorb whatever it is making her sick and to pass it more quickly. If it doesnt end within a day or she is acting differently or dehydrated then the vet is the way to go for sure.

keep your dog hydrated with water or unflavored pedilyte. Plain yougart helps to balance out the cultures in the stomach. If there is still problems tomorrow consult a vet. Watch fot sighns of dehydration, pale gums pinching the skin lightly and having it still stand up after are all sighns of dehydration.

Although it is not a cure to what caused the diarrhea, pumpkim pie filler has the unique quality of being able to harden up loose stools and soften hard stools. I don't know why but it does. Try to get unsweetend just because too much sugar is not great for the dog.
