Could someone have brown hair and dye it blonde?

If you have light brown hair, you can dye it a medium to dark blond the first time yourself. Don't go too light, all at once, alone.

If you are dark brown and you want that platinum look, go to a professional. Otherwise you could end up with clown orange hair...really!

You don't have to do your eyebrows. Look at magazines, not all blondes have blonde eyebrows...many don't. Also, your eyebrows grow much faster than your hair, so you will end up with weird speckled eyebrows within a week.

To change your hair back, you will definately need a professional. Going from blonde to brown yourself can result in army green hair.

I've had to go to the salon to have a bad dye job fixed and it's not cheap...usually $60/hr+. It will take at least 2 to 3 hours to fix if you mess it up, so a little caution can save you a lot of money later! You can definately do it yourself, though! Good Luck!

You can bleach your hair blonde. But don't bleach your eyebrows. It is not necessary that your eyebrows have to match your hair. If hair and eyebrows are blonde it will just wash you out and make you look pale. A lot of people that have blonde hair do have brownish eyebrows. If you want to be safe or try something not as drastic what about putting chunky highlights which looks cute and is not as damaging to the hair. I am a hairstylist. Hope this helped. Good Luck!

Yes, my natural color is dark brown but I have blonde hair. The way to do it without damaging your hair is to highlight it little by little. Add small amounts of highlights, then in about 6 weeks, add a little more and so on. If you bleach your hair all in one day, it will shock your hair and damage it completely. Also don't forget to trim it every time you highlight it. And no you do not NEED to do your eyebrows. Unless they are almost black, I think you'll be fine and won't look stupid.

Yes you can but your hair will feel awful because to do that you need to bleach. Just try some heavy highlights to see if you even like the blond. Highlights are much more beautiful. Definatley go to a professional or even a beauty school if you can't afford a salon. I recommend beauty school because I teach at one and the students are under strict supervision. They also can educate you on how to take care of it with proper products which are also less costly. If your under 18 you'll have to have a parent sign a release form.

First. Don't dye your eyebrows, it's not going to look natural. people who dye their hair blonde don't touch their eyebrows and they look fine. It can also blind you.

Second. you need to do a two step lightening process. First a bleach, then a blonde.
Pick a blonde that isn't brassy, most hair color has "Natural" "Warm" and "Cool" on the box. choose one that is Cool.
Keep in mind that you will have dark roots that will start to show up the day after you color so be prepared to touch up.

if your hair is a light brown, you can just put blonde color on it, as long as your not going more than four levels up, then you'll need to bleach. Don't put permanent dye on your brows, pick a semi-permanente color, that will wash out.

You can change back your hair if it freaks you out, but remember, if you bleach, your hair will be fried, so don't over do it

what i would recommentd is that instead of coloring all of your hair blond, do some really blonde highlights and that way you don't have to dye your eyebrows and then if you like the way the blonde hightlights look, you can keep doing more and then color you hair blond,
but remember it is all about your complextion and your eye color, so if you hair is dark brown, do like a carmal color hightlights and do it in stages.

You should get blond highlights, it won't look dumb, and no you don't need to do your eye brows it's not that serious. You could change it back easily especially because brown turns out good on blond hair. Good luck. Hope I helped. yes, if u have brown hair u can bleach it...my hair is dark brown/almost black & i`ve had it white blonde all over before (of course u have to be very diligent touching up the roots)...now i just bleach out the part of my hair that i`m going to color...i didn`t bother with my brows...it made a startling contrast with my hair, so i kept it as it looked so strange!!!
