i'm 13 1/2, weight 128 pounds, and I just got done with track. i'm not very athletic, and there's times where i just feel huge! everyone says i'm skinny and crap, but those same people are at the most 120 pounds. i fell a s though i'm constantly starving myself, but i just keep gaining weight. should i try something else? i want to lose at least 20 pounds by the end of the summer but have NO idea on how to accomplish it.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Track is a very hard sport, you sound more athletic than you are giving yourself credit for. You are so young and you are still growing into the beautiful woman that you will one day be. Don't starve yourself, your body will naturally hold on to everything that you take in to protect you from starving it. Have your parents take you to the Dr. and let him tell you a professional opinion the Dr.'s job is for you to be healthy believe me he won't tell you something that is not true. Go now look at yourself in the mirror and be thankful that you have a healthy body that lets you run, play, learn and just be 13 almost 14. Good Luck.
