I have a 2 yr. old yellow lab that I found about 5 months ago. She checked out at the vet and no one has claimed her thus far. But, I can't stop her digging! We go for walks, play, she has her own chew toy. How can I make her stop?

Dogs love to dig and it is a fun and natural behavior. If there are areas you don't want her to dig, you have to keep her from going near those areas. That means being outside with her so you can say "NO". Don't leave her out alone. You can allow a part of the yard to be her digging area, and bury some toys and treats there to encourage her to dig in that spot only.

Say "No",firmly but gently, and if you doesn't stop, you'll have to squirt her with a water sprayer bottles.
