what would you do if the man you love broke your trust 7 months ago, (nothing to to big) explained to you what happened honestly but you cant let it go but you know you have a great guy ? what do you do to move on?
he explained what happened and it makes sense i just want to stop torturing myself and forget the past and move on, any advice?

it was wrong what he did and it looked bad but i asked him to be honest and i feel he has, not everyone lies about cheating.
i feel he would tell me the truth

If it was nothing too, too big, as you say, then it should not bother you so much. It is hard to answer this without knowing what he did, however, if you know you have a great guy besides this one little issue, give him a break for being human...the same break he would likely give you...and forget about it. Life is too short to dwell on such trivial things. Remind yourself that it is a tiny little ripple on top of the water before you turn it into a major crashing wave.

They say you can forgive, but you wont forget- but if you love this guy then you need to let by gones be by gones and give him a chance- you can't hold that against him the rest of your life, like you said it will only make you miserable and will end up coming in between youns- push it to the back of your head and give him a second chance Everyone makes mistakes

everyone make mistake.. ask yourself is it that important to u for him to tell the "truth". (no matter what he say..truth or not will depend on how trustful u are to him)
to me i think it is more important for u to know how important u are to him..
even if he lie.. this only means u are very important to him.. because if he don't love u anymore he will be happy to tell u he cheated on u to get u to leave him for good.
why not try keep on thinking of how good he have been and the happy times u have with him to get back the trust u have before. put the unhappy feeling behind u and stop thinking of it by thinking of how good he treat u.
its not easy to keep a relationship going well.. and its not easy to meet a good guy too.. u should treasure it.
to keep a good relationship, beside trust..forgive is very important too!
as i said before "SLAP HIM ONLY WHEN U GOT PROOF OF HIM CHEATING U"

it depends on how serious the matter is like if he cheated on you then it may be a problem. If he has done something to hurt you then you must not take it lightly or he may do it again, be strong and stand up for you dignity! Just remember if this isn't one who should be trusted then there are plenty of other fish in the sea, "just keep swimming"

Is there anyone else like him? Does he treat you well? Why is this causing a chasm in your relationship? You have to allow people to say they are sorry and you have to allow for misunderstands. Forgive and move forward, that is wisdom in any relationship.
