My bo says my warrior (probably the first made...its an 80 somethin) doesn't have the power to get up those hills and I was wonderin if anyone new HOW I could soup this thing up so I can beat the banshees.....I know I know, don't laugh, please help.
Other question, I am lookin for decals for my quad, preferably girly decals, anyone know any good places...(and cheap)?

You're asking a lot from that machine. I would recommend a full pipe ans silence, along with re jetting it. I think you can also find big bore kits for it. Check out, motosport.com , denniskirik.com, rockymountainatv.com. They should have what you are looking for. Ride safe.

I not laugh, wish I had even an 80 to play with and try to modify.
Well, fixing it up not easy. I give in order of expense and mechanics.
Add a Bigger Sprocket, it will go slower, but, climb hills.

You can gut the exhaust and add the next bigger jet to the carburetor.

This is the hard one to do and find the parts.
If you can find a Yamaha that the transmission is fried or maybe a trail bike about a 125, 175 or 250 that not burned up. Pull the Jug (Head where piston is) and put it on your ATV, you may get it to fit. You may find one the Cylinder is scored and have it bored and add new piston. Or, Hone the heck out of the cylinder say .020 over specs and try over sized rings on the old piston.
It may not look great, but, it may surprise people.

When I was young, a friend and me took a Yamaha 125 added a 175 Jug and Bored it to like a 185, I not remember. He told everyone it was a 230. I really not think we bored it that big. It surprised people though. We used a used Bassani Expansion Chamber and Re-Jetted the Carb. Removed the oil injection and mixed in the tank.
