It amazes me that the Global Warming People seem to discount the warming on our neighboring planets as an aberation from the norm but the warming here must be due to man.
Ok...Ok....I'll admit it......Global Warming is all MY fault.
Just a BTW....there have been times in the Earth's past where the temperature was lower than those we are experiencing now and the CO2 levels were higher than we currently have.

Altogether there are 172 planets and moons in our solar system and on the vast majority of them no warming has been observed - this rules out the sun as being a common cause.
We also have very accurate measurements of the amount of heat received from the sun and it's hardly changed at all - the difference between minimum and maximum being less than 0.1% (search 'Insolation Maxima' and 'Insolation Minima' for more info).
Mars is warming in some places but it's not global. The south polar ice cap is melting but the north polar ice cap is expanding. Whatever's happening is localised and there isn't enough data to say for certain. It's beleived that any warming is the the result of the global dust storms that sweep across the entire planet for days on end. Similar conditions here on Earth would lead to warming.
The other planets and moons that may be warming are Jupiter, Triton, Neptune, Pluto and Encaladus. Each has unique reasons including orbit around the sun, reflectivity and seasonal variation.
By the way, the article you linked to explains that the sun is not the reason for warming on Mars.

The Sun, a ball of fusing elements emitting more energy than most humans could ever comprehend, controlling the climate? If Dr. William Gray would have read the following paper, he would never have forecast an active 2006 season. The El-Nino that protected us from the Hurricanes in 2006 was predicted years before.

And the future projections do not include Global Warming.

Let hope it's the sun and not us and I have seen so much information on both sides that it makes think... WOW this is nuts!
But listen, I can think for myself and have come to some conclusions but that doesn't really matter and what matters is no matter what we need to get off of oil and continue to find cleaner sources of power for our earth.
But not at the stake of stopping or hampering development and the economy like the Kyoto Protocol does and our other socialist extremist want to do.

"Global warming" is actually a natural occuring event. All planets weather is cyclical. What is happening on earth is a 10000 or so year cycle is beginning to slow down and get ready to start up again. There is more proof debunking global warming then there is for global warming.

No.
Neptune has been moving closer to the Sun in its elliptical orbit since 1965, which correlates with the rise in its temperature seen since 1980.
There is no convincing evidence that Mars is warming at all. The current surface temps are actually cooler than they were when Viking measured them in the 1970's.
