Now that is funny - not illegal anymore.
No I will not respect an illegal who does not do the time.
Since we are making them "not illegals" because we can not
catch them all, maybe they will get not charge for speeding since they can not catch all the speeders, Seems fair - but
what is next??

The worst part is going to be when after amnesty is granted, the former illegals will take out those foreign flags, mostly Mexican, ( we all watched them be waved last May 06)
that they put away for a public relations stunt, and wave them proudly in our faces to show contempt for us and our laws

I'll view them as cheaters that coned the over politically correct set into pitying them, even though they have all committed a Federal misdemeanor and most have committed the felony of obtaining employment with a false Social Security Number. They are not to be despised for their origins or location, just their crimes and ethics.

Yep, they wouldn't be illegal anymore.
Nope, can't give the same respect to someone who broke the law, then bullied his way into being forgiven.
But it's worse than that. You won't really be able to /tell/ who came here legally, and who just came here and demanded to be made legal retroactively. So always-legals will be tarred with the same brush as the 'not illegals anymore.'

They will still be Illegal Aliens.
My Grandfather came here from Italy as an indentured slave, he had to earn his citizenship, My other Grandfather and both my Grandmothers had to wait to come here through Ellis Island as LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. They also earned Citizenship. Their dead now but they busted their asses to LEARN ENGLISH and ASSIMILATE
These people want to break the law Not assimilate and be rewarded for it.
I say ship them all back and make them apply LEGALLY

Illegal aliens should NOT be granted citizenship or any other form of amnesty allowing them to stay in the U.S. AHEAD of legal immigrants.
They should be sent to the back of the line after being deported....PERIOD.

I will view them as residents and ex-criminals. They're ILLEGALS, right? Let us allow much more legal immigration in the US. We want them here and they're exploited right now because of their status.

WHEN or if?? What planet are you from anyway?
My answer is no. I will choose hard work and dedication as opposed to breaking the law combined with a sense of entitlement.

no, i will not have respect for them. i will view them as leeches, free loaders. i give respect where respect is due. and that would be for the legal immigrants who came here legally the right way.
