how come when i connect my digital camera to my pc it says that there is no device detected? i need help......

i connect the USB cord to both my camera and PC but nothing happens... any ideas why or what i can do?

probably it was never instaled propperly on the pc,or the cord has a problem

See if someone has an external memory card read you can borrow. (this is what I use all the time to save camera batteries). If the pc see the card then, the problem points towards the camera. If so, try fresh batteries, etc.

usb is bad, or the cable is damaged. drivers might not be updated. un-install and re-install
