Don;t get discouraged, but give yourself at least six weeks before you can really see a difference. Stay away from the scale and focus on how your clothes feel. Drink Lots of Water, and flush your sodium out. It is a big help

Hey!, i`m Yamila From Argentina, and i have the same problem, my weight is 59 Kgs and i want to lose only 5 Kgs...i started diet last week, and i also do exercises every day, so i think that in 2 weeks i`ll see good results, it`s what i hope...if you dont see progress in your weight you should go to a nutrisionist...probably you suffer from stress or sth like that, this affect people in diet .well, sorry for my bad english, =)

take a before picture and when the scale goes down, take another picture to compare. since you see yourself everyday you won't notice, but trust me, pictures do show a difference. sorry, i just wanted to say that but anyway, you could start losing weight right after you start dieting, but to lose fat, it should take about 1 month if you exercise AND diet.

on average it takes 2-3 weeks for the metabolism to shift to a point where there is measurable fat loss.

get yourself of hand calipers off the net so you can track your body fat and adjust your diet accordingly when weight loss occurs
