In my few months attending from time to time, I have received very few real answers to my questions and have seen the same type of stupid questions or aggitations over and over. Do you think that they should make a new section called Serious R&S questions & answers, and let the neanderthals have this section?

OF course it is a very serious waste of time...this is a very real answer to a real question. Do you think anyone really reads or follows any advice here? The only advice I actually think helps is that which agrees with the thinking of the asker, who already knew what he/she was going to do in the first place. Waste of time...hell yes. And by the way, I have 40K or more points...and I still say it a colossal waste of time

I blame all of it on his schooling and up bringing, now if Steve had the form of up bringing wherein his mum and dad had taught him the whole lot and brought him to the quality Creationist Museum he could now not have wasted so a long time in Education! That is the quandary with Studyitiuos! the possibilities of ever being utterly cured is extremly infrequent! I believe extra must be performed to help such men and women, actually I believe I will simply pop into a couple of universities and factor out the Evil errors in their approaches!

There are questions that may appear stupid to us but serious to the asker. There are answers that meet and does not meet the question. It is really hard to judge. If the question or answer appears stupid to me, I give the chance to people who will be willing to give their time to it. I think I must respect the point of view of other people. This forum has given me a good idea of the people I live with in this world. I have learned to enjoy it.

Its no more a waste of time than doing a crossword or watching videos on Youtube. Actually, I do learn things here and I enjoy the interplay. Its an internet forum, not a university. Just by the nature of the medium its very limited. Relax. Its good for you.

I don't agree with you.
This place is a little crazy or nonsense from time to time, but I found a lot of good people that are intelligent and funny. Is like a therapy to me. Sometimes I believe this place is better than reality. The reality is relative. Or not?

If you think that, I wonder why you keep on coming here? Hope maybe. You are right, we do get some stupid questions and answers here. Stupid questions deserve stupid answers, I have heard. I try not to bother with either, but sometimes I yield to the temptation.

R&S has changed a lot since I began coming here. A separate category for those who are serious is a good idea, but Yahoo will never listen.

If you gave it that title, you would be asking for the undesirables to check in. You just have to be patient sometimes. Oh, all time is wasted, since it cannot be recycled and can always be used in an alternative manner.

I have been thinking of starting a forum for people of faith who are genuinely interested in discussing various social issues. This setup is fine for entertainment but I wouldn’t suggest posting serous questions.

It will never work. You could try posting your questions in the philosophy section, they might have a slightly higher percentage of "serious" answers.
