The world's most powerful tool? Communication. Without it, nothing else would make sense.
It's sad, but a person can have a brain, but not know how to use it--or be unable to use it. If they have communication they can use it.
Everything you say is communication. Even some things you don't say--as in attitude. It is communicated in how you act.
All writing (including the Bible) is communication. So without communication you would not be able to know God--or even how to write. The most powerful motivation in MY life is my relationship and love for the Lord. But that's not the question is it? ;-) The question is what is the most powerful motivational tool in the WORLD. Since many people in the world don't know the Lord, He is not the world's most powerful motivational tool. Besides that, one would hope that the Lord is not just a tool--something a person uses to get what they want.
Everything on TV or on your computer is communication.
Without communication money would mean nothing.
We wouldn't really KNOW if someone loved us or not. We could only guess.
Without communication we wouldn't know about all of the things that cause fear that are out there.
You can have inspiration--but if it is not communicated--it dies.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." How can anyone not love God back, seeing how much He was willing to give to save us? (So maybe it's something other than fear that motivates us?)

Definitely Love. Love inspires men and women to go to great lengths and battle great odds to accomplish extraordinary things.
To those who answered fear, that is just sad. Fear doesn't motivate; it inhibits. Perfect love drives out fear.
