By the way, she slept with this other man before she married you, unless, of course you were gunning for a virgin. Most likely she's been faithful and loyal since you've not found any infidelity the last 17 years.

Long ago you should have gone for couples therapy, and still should. The problem seems to be that you haven't rebuilt that trust you once had. If you want to give your marriage a shot, open the doors on communication.

Well, if that happens 17 years ago, then forget it. If not, talk to her first and as long as she doesnt do it again, forgive her. Afterall, she was considered single when she did it.

excuse me u been fightn bout this for 17 yrs...oh no see u should of left way back when if u was that mad n upset bout it. u been fightn all this time bout something u could of resolved way back when..grow up already..this marriage is ova n has been for a long time. let it go or leave. its time to either get ova it and move on or get out of the marriage n be happy.

s w , who answered this question first is absolutely correct. mature adults have sex with each other. they then get into monogamous relationships. what went before does not count if what you have now is worth anything !
