im 16 i have a frend who recantly moved to another cuntry and theres not many ways to contact her because she use to be my girlfrend and my mom doesn't want to pay for the internet because she doesn't undersand it etc well i saved up for a computer i payed for it and i want to get the internet so i can email my friend but i was wondering if it would matter if i didn't tell her about it if i payed for it myself. where i live u can pay for like 20 hrs for a certain amount so u get a disk and a pin code and then u can use the internet for the limited time but i dont wanna tell my mom because if my little 8 year old brother finds out then he will want to use internet but i cant afford to pay everyones internet and my mom dont want the internet but its my computer and she will make me share it with everyone but wont pay any of it?

i also left school and im working and she makes me pay rent....but my older sister dont work and dont pay rent shes 19

Why don't you try going to your local library and using the free internet access there?

Where I live you can go to the library and use the Internet for free for an hour at a time. Many people come after school and use the computers, not only for the Internet, but for school papers. The library also lets you print out pages at ten cents/page.
I don't have enough info to advise you on this problem, but I can tell you that sooner or later your mom is going to find out what you've done and it would probably be better to confess. Also, little brothers are sneaky and it's very hard to keep secrets from them. So, gird your loins, and make a decision and then go ahead. Only you can decide what's best in this situation.

You most likely will have to wait until your 18 and off to college. Internet services want to set up an account. So if you decide not to pay the bill they can't sue you because your a minor.
Haven't heard of pay as you go internet service.
Best thing is to go to the library to access the net.
Be honest with your mom about your wishes in wanting a computer and internet access. She may come around.
I agree with her 100% with you paying rent. If your unable to stay in school you should be paying rent. and if your 19 year old sister is not in college she should pay rent also.
But I do hope your not here tryng to look for ways to run your mothers house??? That is her house and her rules.
