Oh dear. That is a hard thing to mention to your daughter. Hmm... Well, if she's going to fast food joints after school, she must have money, right? If you give it to her, stop. If you're the one buying it for her, stop. If its her friends, however..hmm..
But honestly, you have to mention it. By being afraid to hurt her, you're actually doing just that. If she's gaining weight unnaturally fast, tell her that you think you BOTH need a heathier diet, that way, she may possibly think you mean you need to, so she may not gedt offended, and you wouldn't be hurting her. But being overweight if harmful, so either you offend her and she loses some weight, or you dont tell her, and she gets obese, made fun of, left out etc.
Only you can decide what's best..

Please, dont hurt her by letting her weight get out of control. She could be just growing, but by the way you described it i think you should do something about it.
I have two ideas:
1. Change her eating habits: You could make it something you do together- you can teach her how to cook healthy foods so she will feel more enthusiastic about eating right. And since its with her mom, she will love it doing it and look forward to coming up with new healthy recipes.
2. Exercise WITH her. I loved it when my mom walked around the lake with me or went bike riding together. It made it feel less like a workout and more like a good time.
It could actually be fun if you find creative ways to do it :)

It is so hard being a teenager, and food seems to be one stable socially acceptable behavoir, however indulging in anything is harmful. Just let her know that you are concerned about the risk factors if she continues like this, but be positive and commend her on her physical activity like swimming!!
Try something like the compliment sandwich:
1. Start with a positive thing about her
2. Address the issue
3. End with something else positive. Let her know you are concerned because you love her!!
Good luck!

You are still her mother you need to regulate her diet, that means regulating yours as well. Dont let her get the fast food. Kindly mention that you dont think her eating habits are healthy and that you think she needs to change them. Dont tell her shes fat just say you have noticed she has gained a bit of weight and that you dont want this trend to continue.

Give her a huge hug and then level with her. Nobody said anything to my sister and the same thing happened to her and now at 30 years old she is morbidly obese.

It relies upon on whilst the homework grow to be assigned. the mathematics issues have been probably given to her at present. yet she might desire to have usual with regards to the technological information attempt and reading attempt earlier to time (giving her some nights to income for them). additionally, the checklist for her reading classification optimistically wasn't given to her in basic terms at present and due the following day. She desires to income to budget her time and not wait till the final minute to end college paintings. you may desire to communicate along with her instructor with regard to the mathematics stages and additionally with regards to the homework difficulty (if the instructor is assigning each and every of the homework the nighttime formerly this is due).

im 14 and if i was overweight in 7th grade, i would want someone to tell me that i needed to lose weight. but i would probably want them to suggest ways to lose weight, other than working out. i mean, u dont even have to tell her, just take her dancing or swimming even ice skating. encourage her to take up a sport, but dont make her. and when she goes to mcdonalds, tell her tht the asian salad is really good, but the dressing is horriable. idk, little things like tht.
