Obey your parents, but ask if there is anyway the three of you could find a common ground. Would they let you go out with the boy in a supervised setting or with a group of other friends?

See what your parents would agree to. If not a real date, how about some after school activity you both could do. Or a "family outing" type thing where your parents take you to a circus and he comes along? I am making a guess here, and telling you how I managed to sort of have dates without having dates.

Um, wait. Since, you know, middle school's a little too young to be ready to elope with the guy you love...and besides - your parents are looking out for your own good. So don't worry too much about him - in a few years, you'll be in HS and probably on a free reign to date by your parents.

if you're in school then you must be young so listen to your parents then. they know what's best for you. it will also save you from all the heartaches relationships bring. You still have a long life ahead of you to experience romance so take your time and grow like a normal kid or teen that you are. Good luck and do make the best decision to avoid regrets!!!!!!!

You should go with what your parents say, unfortunately. Since you're in middle school, the only thing that's going to happen if you buck your parents' wishes is that they're going to make your life miserable. No middle-school guy is really worth it (trust me!). You have to live with your parents; you don't have to live with this guy!

Middle School kids shouldn't be allowed to date.
Kids go to school to learn, not have boyfriends that they'll get tired of in a week and break up.

Dating in Middle School is so useless anyway. The chances of it actually developing into something is next to nil.
Learn to have fun with members of all sexes. It does not need to lead to something serious. --It really shouldn't in middle school.

just go out with him in the afternoon of sumthin if ur parents don't kno or if they think ur with ur other friends. if u cant be dishonest, either talk to him and tell him that your parents say u cant, or ask your parents to talk to him and say u cant, it could make them feel bad or kinda awkward, and it has worked b4, my friends parents didnt want her to have a bf either, but when they met him n spoke to him they changed their minds. I only recommend this if he is responsible or could impress your parents, if they already dont like him, your best bet is to sneak dates until ur in highschool or they say you can date whenevr u want

I would listen to my parents. You may get into alot of trouble and hurt if you dont listen to them and go out with him.
Your parents have experience and know whats best for you. When I was in middle school i was in the same situation as you, my parents said no i cant go out with this boy, I did anyway and he assaulted me.
Please listen to your parents.
