we just bought a stand up tanning bed. I was wondering if it will cause my electric bill to go sky high if we only use it twice a day?

u can expect a slight increase, because it is 220 v, but not too much, i don`t think...when i had my lay down bed, it was run several times a day & it made our bill jump by about $10 a month...

Use the tanning bed twice a day, and your life will be twice as short, because you will probably get skin cancer.

But you don't want to hear THAT, I bet.

Yes, a tanning bed could very well run up your electrical bill, because it's STILL an appliance that needs to be plugged in, and what does it use? 10 000 watts or more each time you turn it on?

To save money on your bills, just join a salon and get a membership. I prefer spray on tans, or self tanner.
But that's just my thought. Mystic Tan is really popular.

it relies upon if the tanning mattress is operating off of one hundred and ten or 220 if one hundred and ten then it would want to plug ideal into the wall, if 220 then you definitely have were given to interchange the hollow the position it will be plugged in. so a ways because the bill, in case you tan once per week no longer a huge difference if you're like my girlfriends mom, tanning 2 cases an afternoon, then your bill would flow up 50 greenbacks. you could call you electric powered organization and ask them how a lot this is going to fee to run it.
