I just came from a high school awards assembly where they gave out and presented awards and scholarships to the graduating seniors. My question is are scholarships also given out at the graduation ceremony which will be next week or just the diplomas? Thanks.

i guess it depends on where you go. at my school they did a scholarship ceremony. and that was it. they did not announce anything during the graduation ceremony besides the valid victorian. if you did not receive a scholarship though don't worry freshmen usual receive a scholarship from the school tehy attend and you have options to look for scholarships on your own. go to fast web and take a gander.

goodluck and congrats.

In most schools, ALL the scholarships are given at the awards ceremony.

The announcements of scholarships are made at the graduation ceremony. Recipients of scholarships know about it well in advance of the ceremony.

Depends on your school, some do, some don't, the majority give out just valedictorian and saludatorian, and maybe a governor's award or something like that.
Ask your guidance counselor for sure = ].
