Lol....Another girl is in control of a guy you want to date. What kind of wuss is he? He needs permission in order to date you, perhaps you should seek other date material.

umm why do you care what his ex girlfriend wants? She's an ex for a reason and he obviously doesn't still like her or else they'd still be together.
He's single and you're single. If you both like each other i say screw the gf and go out with him. It's none of her business what she wants or thinks anyway.
Do what makes you and him happy. It's not your fault she's not over him yet. Why should you suffer because she can't find a new bf?

He has the right to date anyone he wants to, and it doesn't matter if his ex girlfriend is in love with him or not. Their relationship is in the past, and if you guys like each other now, then you guys should go for it. I don't think his ex girlfriend would be able to restrain him from going out for a date with you, and she can't report him or get him arrested because he's doing absolutely nothing wrong. He has the right to choose who he wants to go out with, and who he likes. She can't do anything about that. So don't worry about her.

Tell her in a polite way, either your dating him or your not. You cant sit on the bench and tell me what to do. If she doesnt get the hint you may have to back those words up with claws

Ask the guy, he doesnt get out of this one easy by sitting back and letting you girls claw it out. Get him involved, ask him if he is over the ex or not. If he honestly answers no then ask him will he ever get over her. You need to gauge if the gains in this situation are worth the losses, or potential losses.
Work this out, then make a decicion with all the facts

Do you know her personally, so that way you know that she's an ex? If you are sure beyond any reason of doubt that they are not together, then you two have the right to go out together if that's what you both want.
