Obviously a hypocritical question but none the less I ask because England has the European Union to support them so do you think we can defeat them and what would be the most valuable targets ?

I think... yes and no.
US can defeat them in conventional warfare but guerrilla warfare will be tough and consider also the trade embargo by the EU. Also think about Chinese and Russian intervention.
NATO will be break-up for sure.
In war. It's not all about what the country's army can do to the adversaries.

OK I'll play. NATO headquarters would have to go first, and at the same time all European airbases and naval bases. Once this is accomplished then a land invasion of England can commence once air and sea is secure. It is the only way to win and we probably could it if we prepared for it.

You're missing the point: victory in warfare entails achieving political goals. What would "victory" against England look like? Would it mean we destroyed their cities? Yeah, we can do that in 30 minutes with nuclear weapons. Would it mean we defeated their conventional forces in combat? If we pulled out of Iraq first we could probably do that, too. Would it mean we occupied and pacified their country? Not a chance. If you think I'm wrong, pick up a paper and tell me how the "surge" is going.
The Viet Cong defeated us not because they beat us in combat but because they demonstrated that they were willing to take unlimited casualties, proving that we would never accomplish our goal of pacifying Vietnam.

Fate, i know it's hypothetical or hypocritical, but i don't see us in a war with England anytime ever. (There was a reason to have a conflict with France and Germany due to the food for oil scandal) but now that france is conservative, I think our relations with them will be better as well.
As for the european union, I believe it would fall in the face of the NATO alliance.

head to head the only single usa that could desire to placed a danger to u.s. in an all out conflict is China. If we'd have enjoyed to there is not a rustic we could not take over in a week if we used our finished Air tension, army, and floor Troops.

We would win. We are the only country in the world that spends a lot of money on new military technology. US is the country with the highest military technology level. The Chinese are really trying to catch up to our technology level.
