Are there any Sites or other forms of information to search for Western equivalents to Russian Components?

Question

Basic Components like Resistors, Capacitors, Transistors, Diodes, Chokes, Coills, Transformers, C-Cores, Relays, ICs, Bearings etc.,(all for general purpose; not-any-equipment- specific). I need this info for official purpose.

The components required for Avionics.. These Components may be required for Consumer Electronics too. Or my not.

Yes, your observation is true for Resistors. Thats it.
Beyond that somebody has to study the Russian specification and Dimensions to decide its western equivalents.

Most of what you are asking about is simply a matter of reading the value on the part. Res. caps coils etc. all will be in the same units no matter where they are from.
IC's will almost definitely be from some other country as the russians never developed much of a semicoductor industry of their own. I do not know of any site that specifically cross references russian components but electronic manufacturers all have cross reference guide for their components.
