What a great, and mature question for you to ask. Obviously, you understand that whatever you do needs to be healthy! I will give you two answers for this.
Number one, whatever exercise you do, increase it daily. If you like sports, add a different sport, or more time a little bit each day and as you build increased strength and tolerance, your body will be burning up more and more calories everyday. (muscle burns more calories than fat) The easiest exercise to add is just to walk. Start with a couple of blocks and keep adding to it if you like walking. As you increase distance, you can slowly increase speed and you will be doing one of the best fat burning exercises there is!
Second, cut out as much sugar from your diet that you can. If you got the munchies, add a fruit or veggie. Don't go entirely cold turkey because this can just inspire you to binge. If you eat sweets each day, cut the amount in half at first. Oddly enough, when you finally get to avoiding most sugar, other foods are going to taste even better as their natural sweetness will increase.
Weightlifting is helpful if you do it properly and with training, so I was confused as to how that would interfere with your growing. Toning whatever body you have will make you look great. Just don't follow fad diets and if you find yourself losing energy, you are not helping yourself.
Fastest and healthiest, more exercise (NOT too much exercise) 5 servings of fruits and 5 servings of vegetable per day. You will feel great and look great.
Best luck and hugs,
Theresa

weightlifting doesnt help lose any weight - it only builds muscle and would make you look bigger.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

It's really easy. Try to stop eating any junk food. Being a kid gives you an advantage because you have a really fast metabolism. Eat healthy things like fruit and vegetables. Go play in the park and have fun. It'll be gone in no time.

At such a young age your body doesn't need a drastic and fast diet plan, the safe way is to eat in moderation and not heavy meals and just eat lean meats and fresh fruits and vegetables, and most importantly DO NOT EAT LATE MEALS.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

talk to your PE teacher. A good fruit filled diet w/o soda is good. Look for charts online to help you portion your food in servings. Cut down on bread and sugar definitely. Running and bike riding is a great way. walking too. NO fast food.
