Wow, you will probably lose weight today if your metabolism is still healthy. I don't think that's enough calories for a 17 year old girl, especially with how much you're exercising. I know you had chocolate chip cookies, but it seems that you need more sources of healthier fats like nuts, avocados, and olive oil....maybe some veggies sauteed in olive olive & little garlic for flavor. I don't think you're eating enough in general...it seems that you need to add more protein, and more snacks...a peanut butter sandwich on whole grain bread. I sense that if you stay on your routine for much longer you will start to notice things like: feeling low energy, moodiness, skin problems & looking pale, thinning hair and irregular menstrual cycle. You can afford to eat more with how much you exercise.

You will lose weight today. I think 140 lbs. on a 17 year old, 5'6" girl is a little much (because when you are 40 you may weigh 180). Keep at it and lift weights. Do 3 sets of about 10 reps. and it will keep your metabolism humming for 24 hours. And do eat snacks, but healthy ones. Eat soups, salads, cereals, fruits, vegetables, skim milk, diet colas, baked snacks, a few nuts, beans, 100% whole wheat bread only-enriched bread gives love handles, fish, chicken, turkey but only the size of a deck of cards. You can get by on 1000 calories unless you work out really hard which means you may need 1500+. And stay away from fast food. I think you are doing great though, by counting calories and working out.

Hey, were about the same age and I know that eating 1000 calories with that much activity is definately not enough. Im sure you look fine, and if your looking to lose weight you definately don't want to not eat, kind of reverses on you in the long run, so eat healthy filling meals, and exercise.

Remember the amount of calories you eat is the amount of energy you have, based on how much is from fat and how much is good for you...

Things like lettuce and carrots are composed of mostly water but you body has to break them down so thats why you dont feel hungry...eat some more foods like chicken and fish ...

body needs complex carbs for breakfast and much more calories than that.
you are not eating enought to lose weight - you will only lose water weight and muscle and slow down your metabolism and then gain more than lost as soon as start eating normal again.
body needs 50cal/hour just for basic functioning (like when you are in coma) and thats 1200cal/day - so you can imagine how much you are depriving your body.
you could have replaced those cookies with a big stake - thats how many calories they have.

the four cookies were bad and you probably went over 1000 calories because of them. you need to eat more than 1000 calories anyway thats not enough at all. try eating 1200-1500 calories a day instead. and eat more for breakfast, it should be your bigest meal of the day, dinner should be the smallest. you need more energy at the beginning of the day, not the end.

You got the right idea the pattern you are eating in but it's not enough calories .. It should be at least 12-1500 for anyone, especially a growing young lady. check out http://www.makeoverfitness.com and get a free consultation.

if we could all do that everyday we would be gods.

An easy way to speed up metabolism is to eat more snacks (no really). if your constantly putting stuff in its going to constantly have to come out. so your intestines will be at a faster pace. you burn calories faster and dont store fat because your body knows it will eat again in two hours, so it dosnt hold onto calories. eat anything fruit for your snacks.

Akso hot soup or water give the stomach the impression that its "full". so you can not eat a lot yet still be sane.

you will probably stay the same. Your body needs at least 1500 calories i believe otherwise you metabolism will slow down and your body thinks its stavring. I used to eat that little calories a day and i didnt lose anything...up your calories with healthy food and you might see a change...

You have a problem.
No human being can live on 1000 cals a day. You are underweight, you do not need to be eating like a rabbit and exercising that much! And you will not noticably gain or lose weight after one day.
Go have a ******* cheesecake or something!
