The only way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise. I have definitely learned my lesson about weight loss. I have been on various diets including weight watchers, carb addicts, etc. and every time I would lose weight but I also felt terrible doing the diets and would always gain the weight back. After the death of my dad in 2001 from heart disease, I decided I needed to do something for myself. I first had to change my eating habits since I felt that was my biggest problems. I found a book that I could relate to and felt that it addressed all my issues. It is called the Sugar Addicts Total Recovery Program. It is a 6 step program that you go at your own pace. I took it very slowly and it took my 15 months to get to step 6. Once in step 6 you start to lose weight, which I did. After a couple of months I decided to start exercising for 10 min, 3 times a week. I increased my time by 2 minutes every week until I got to 30 minutes. I was generally walking outside. I then increased to 4 times a week. I lost 36 lbs the first year. I then joined a gym and wanted to lift weights so I got a personal trainer. He helped me lose 50 more lbs over an 11 month period. It has been 3 years now and have kept the weight off and feel fabulous. It was the hardest thing I ever did, but having a personal trainer helped alot. He was very motivating and patient with me. It seems that most people want a quick way to lose weight but I have learned that there is no quick way, just the right way. I am a 49 year old female and am the fittest I have every been.

I determined the guide to be very informative and handy to learn. I've misplaced 17 kilos in 12 days, I'm simply worried that I'm wasting an excessive amount of weight, too speedily. I will admit I have not adopted the consultant precisely. I'm now not sticking flawlessly to the indexed meals and meal plans (however as a rule) and doing little or no pastime, however the weight continues flying off. It naturally works and if I'd adopted it precisely I consider it might scare the dwelling daylights out of me considering of the quantity that I'd lose. So thank you once more for the knowledge. I've on no account bought some thing like this earlier than considering they're generally filled with trash, however 3WD has been a fine shock. Get began at present!

Unfortunately it is a lot of hard work and dedication. I have lost about 35 lbs and it was all from going to the gym about 5 times a week with 2 cardio sessions and training with a personal trainer for and hour 3 times a week. Also, you have to cut out all the junk food but not entirely. If i were craving something sweet have a piece and thats it. That was the best way for me to stop over induldging. Its all about a commitment, and there is no quick fix.

Put the date by when you want to lose however much weight on a Post-it.
Like, I wrote "10 pounds by April 12" on a 'Post-it' and stuck it on my mirror; so that I would see it all the time.
Also, while I was working out in my home, I would watch Britney Spears music videos for great inspiration!
Good Luck!

I gradually cut down my calories and made some easy switches, like nonfat and sugar free instead of regular anything I could. Of course, there are also some things I never eat anymore, but after a while you forget how they taste and don't miss them.
