IF we are not to make anything that is in heaven or on earth, what does that mean for people who make gold crosses as necklaces or designs for jewelry, T-Shirts, clothes, shoes, etc. What about the ones making a statue of Jesus and praying and bowing down to the statue? Even when the prophet bowed down to Jesus in the bible, Jesus told him to get up because he wasn't the one to be bowing down to but God. Why are we doing what God said in the bible NOT to do?

People make idols and worship them and then tell themselves they are doing nothing wrong but your right God said not to do this. Ex. 20:4,5 and showed how unreasonable it is in Isa. 44:15-20 and Jer. 10:14,15 and Isa. 2:8 besides No image of God is possible Deut. 4: 15-19and Acts 17:29 and 1 John 4:12 These images cannot hear our petitions of worship or do anything to help. Ps. 115:4-8 and Jer. 10:3-5 and Hab. 2:18,19 and Isa. 46:6,7 these become a snare to those who use them. 2 King 18:3,4 Judg. 8:27 Jehovah refuses to share his glory with graven images Isa. 42:8 prayer is to be offered to Jehovah in Jesus name with no graven images needed JOhn 14:13 and John 15:16 there is only 1 mediator , so idolatrous practices cannot properly be mixed with true worship
