find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

as a motivation, you could buy a pair of really nice jeans that would only fit after you lose those pounds. haha or actually anthing would work, but jeans (i think) are the most effective since they're tight and fitting, so they'll only fit if you were a certain size. it'll be motivating cause you'll really want to wear those jeans, and the only way is to lose weight.

also, writing down a workout schedule can help. write down what exercises you'll do each day, and try to stick to it. if you do a little everyday, it won't seem so hard.

you can also join a gym, since they calculate the schedule and everything you need to know for you.

the best way is to just exercise and not eat that much. once you start to exercise more and more, it'll gradually become a habit. if you bring a friend to work out with you, it'll also be easier, since the two of you will be working toward a common goal. Running is the best fat-burning exercise, btw.

goodluck!
